DALITE for Windows™ Datascan Configuration and Data Acquisition Software for Windows

DALITE for Windows™ is an easy to use Data Acquisition software package for use with the Datascan range of distributed I/O products. Based on the familiar Microsoft Windows™ environment it enables users to monitor and collect real world data from analog and digital transducers connected to Datascan.

DALITE can pass this data to other Window's based packages to create a powerful yet easy to use Data Acquisition system. Point and click mouse driven menus make it simple to configure Datascan in large or small applications

Dalite for Windows has been designed to utilise the powerful programming features of the Datascan product range. It is simple and intuitive to use and integrate into a host of Windows based products .

The integrated channel monitor and datalogger make it a self contained data acquisition package. 

Each channel can be individually programmed for each specific sensor. Using DDE, real time data can be imported into any standard Windows package for real time display and processing

 

Data Logging

The DALITE logger records data from all of the configured channels. Logging rates can be programmed from 1 second
to 1 hour, Loggers can be initiated either by time or under a manual input.

The data is stored in a text based format suitable for exporting to spreadsheets or word processors. 

A logger run time icon is presented when the logger is enabled. This icon displays the activity and the number of logs that have been made.

Channels can be monitored using the configurable monitor page. 

The page displays real time data and text. A single monitor page can be configured to provide up to 180 cells in any combination of rows and columns. 

Channels which go into alarm can be displayed in different colours to alert the user. 

Error messages can be displayed on this page. 

Dalite DDE interface

The DALITE DDE interface provides the use with the means of simply pasting real time data into other standard Windows based products such as Excel and Word. 

In addition there are a number of real time products that can be used to provide user interfaces such as Mimic displays control panels and trends.

Real Time Trends

Real time trends of measured data can be displayed using TRX for DALITE. 

Up to 8 different trend graphs each with 8 independent traces can be configured using data from DALITE via DDE. 

Trend windows can be scaled and printed.
